1 ripe HASS Avacado
½ to 1 tomato, seeded and chopped
½ to 1 lime, juiced
½ to 1 small onion, minced (or shallot)
1 clove garlic, minced
kosher salt

Dice, chop and/or mince tomato, shallot/onion and garlic; wedge lime – set aside

Scoop out one avocado into a bowl

Squeeze the juice of at least ½ a lime over the avocado and sprinkle with cumin (both are to taste)

Add chopped tomato, onion and garlic – sprinkle on some salt

Mash with a fork – add additional lime juice, cumin and/or salt to taste

lack fresh tomato, onion and garlic? spoon in a couple dollops of salsa – lemon juice can be substituted
